It is a magic trick, yes, but it is more than that. It is ingenuity. Salah's done stuff like this with a ping pong ball, a tissue, his shoe, etc. Yeah it might be a little corny, but as Matt Damon's character Will said it "Goodwill Hunting", "...at least I won't be unoriginal!" Props for Salah.
