I have a shoal of 10 of these delightful marine reef fish in my reef aquarium a number of which pair and spawn. Individually they look nothing special but in a shoal they really come to life. The larger male mouth broods the eggs. The smaller female has an elongated dorsal fin. I think I have that the right way round. These are passive fish that should not be housed with overly aggressive species. However they do make a fine shoaling fish for the reef aquarium
