I hadn't been on a track for over 2 years, plus a friend was graciously letting me borrow his car so I went with the novice group. Also my first time tracking a FWD car. This was the 3rd session of 7. Ran out of memory on the goppro after recording only sessions 2-4. None of these laps were pushed as hard as when I had the sti but I think the times are generally only a few seconds off, and if I pushed it harder the gap would be even closer. I didn't know what to expect with this car but I was pleasantly surprised with how capable it proved and I felt pretty comfortable with it by the end of the day. I did stop trying to heel toe because I was so out of practice and the car was foreign to me, and half the time that I did it I was simply awful. I was entering the back straight poorly but I think this car would beat my sti down the straight because it has mods and more power. Not sure why the gps track came out double imaged, it was only this session where this happened. Perhaps the earth shifted slightly in the universe :)? i left the g-meter on although it's probably half useless, it is plotted from gps data and not accelerometers, and it was mounted on the rear hatch window so odd behavior can probably be attributed to wind, and mayhaps the orbital shifting of the track. a cute blond girl was working on turn 13 :)!
stuff on track:
2:17 green viper
8:45 white evo
11:09 white rx7
11:50 power blue e92 m3 (sounds goooood)
