Ryan Roberts and Eugenio Medina, two close friends of mine, passed away within the past year.
On October 16th and 17th, a Smash Tournament dedicated to Ryan Roberts and Eugenio Medina will be held at US Gaming Arena in Roswell, Georgia. The tournament will serve as a means to keep the memories and spirits alive of Ryan and Eugenio. All the money collected from the tournament will go to their respective families. This will be very meaningful to their families, not because we're giving them money, but because it shows that we still care about Ryan and Eugenio, and we all still deeply love them. The tournament is expected to have around 100 participants, coming everywhere from the South East and East Coast.

The re-edited version is a few minutes shorter than the original, and I added more pictures of Eugenio and Ryan.

  • @MooseEatsBear You have NO idea how much that compliment meant to me. Most compliments feel empty and without heart, but yours really made me feel great. Thanks man, I REALLY appreciate it.

  • @SBFJace I was supposed to have a $1 mm with Ryan but I was too shy to go up to him. I regret that soooo much to this day, and now I know to never make that mistake again. I could've met a great friend :(

  • Nes Noob asked me to $1 mm me once at a tourney. I responded with a smile "but you always beat me!" but still sat down to play him. He beat me to a pulp, but we both laughed together as we played. It was fun.

It was one of my only interactions with him. I had no idea that it would turn out to be such a precious experience. He was one of the kindest guys you could ever meet.

RIP to both of these amazing men.

  • I cried as well. Very touching video. When the song that was in nEs n00b's tribute video came on, I just lost it. I never knew either of these guys, but they seem like they were amazing people. Rest in peace, my friends. You've touched people you never even knew existed.

  • i cried.
