Here's a quick little demo of Halo 2600 that was released at CGE 2010. My friend Rick Weis from the Portland Retro Gaming Expo (PRGE) was nice enough to grab me a copy since I couldn't make it out to the Classic Gaming Expo this year.
Halo 2600 is a new homebrew game for the (very old) Atari 2600 game console written by Ed Fries. It is an attempt to answer the question: "What might Halo have looked like if it was written in 1977 when the Atari 2600 was first released?"
Now if we could only get it ported to the Commodore 64 :)
So about this video demo... John Hancock, another friend from the PRGE came out to the Commodore Computer Club and Users Group meeting in Vancouver, WA on August 6, 2010 to hang out and play some Commodore games, but most of us C= users also like the Atari 2600, so we always have a VCS system on hand to play doing comparisons of Commodore 64 games verses Atari 2600 games.
Hopefully you enjoy the video.
