@SlimTwisted my cyclops seem to swim through the water whereas the daphnia I have do the same as yours. I think it's just a sign that they're big and juicy
I have a small collection of ostracods, which are similar to daphnia. Every once in a while, I drop in a tiny piece of food for them to feed on, and their numbers grow insanely fast! four days ago, I put one piece of wheat chex in, and now there are hundreds of them.

You know, I thought I had a tankful of Daphnia going but after looking at this, maybe not.
Mine tend to almost hop (sink, hop twice, sink and so on) rather than swim like these guys. Perhaps I have a thriving cyclops population?
