I still have a 24t tucked away in the shed. I don't use it anymore but I can't part with it, it's like an old friend. Gave years of service and would be good for a whole bunch more.

@6030diesel Yea they are replaceable but alot of the other parts for the baler are getting scarce if not impossible to find at a dealer and most of what is out in the junk yards are just that. JUNK. They were great balers though.

Is that dry crop or is it irrigated?

@SuperJohndeere4020 dry crop. when it rains it gets water, when its dont it dont get water lol.

My driving job on the farm was with an old MF 175 and a John Deere 14T back in the early eighties. Tough old balers. We finally did wear the thing out though and i sold it for scrap last year.

@terrellfarms1 this one has replaceable wearstrips everywhere in the plunger, so when it wears out im gonna rebuild it :D

Amazing that the knotter works so well. Did you lube & grease it at all before this vid?

@Virginiasensomia yea, greased the gears, and the grease nipples back there and called it good.
