The whole reason for my argument is that, if regulated correctly, legalized cannabis could have great benefits in the fields of psychiatry, cancer treatment, addiction treatment, and various other areas.
Yeah, THC definitely isn't doing all the magic. THC derivatives/metabolites are useful too. There's dozens of them, and they can have varying benefits if used wisely (emphasis on wisely).
There is a benefit in THC itself, though. Research has been done on anticarcinogenic and neuroprotective activity of pure THC. There's also research on alarmingly psychotomimetic effects in extremely high doses, but I don't think anyone should ever need such high doses.
@SSJkiller Hemp oil... <--- no THC is incredibly great. And very legal. first legal use for Cannabis was Legal to dispense in Joint form in 1981 at Verdugo Hills Medical Center in La Canada. The THC was removed. The Benefits is not in the THC. It is the Impuritys in it that make it work.
I have written my local representative on cannabis legalization propositions, but no luck yet. All I want to do is help people who can benefit from it.
And you're right, meth labs are a horrible thing. Perhaps meth addicts could be given a legal supply of pharmaceutically pure methamphetamine so that they can no longer get it from these dangerous labs... it'd put them out of business.
@SSJkiller lol its just a lost topic. Write your Congressmen.
not Ignorant at all of course. Your perception you need to work on control of your actions. Meth Labs getting busted is great. How many homes burn down cause the nitrate to fast??? <---- Yes, I used to work for a Drug testing Company.. No, do get excited. Not a drug maker.
Medicinal cannabis has helped millions of people, and would help tend of millions more. And it's hilarious if you think that the illegal status of cannabis says anything about its actual effects. Antidepressants are legal, and they have pages and pages worth of dangerous side effects.
Cannabis is illegal, and it hasn't caused a single death or a single case of physical addiction in all of human history.
Sorry I keep "waisting" your time but I feel your ignorant, presumptuous nature and I really want you to see the facts instead of remaining blind. Plus, hitting your nerves and seeing the reactions is fun :)
I use cannabis once a month. I use no other drugs. I am a biochemistry major with a 3.5 GPA. How is that not having a life?
Your presumptuous nature is really allowing your ignorance to shine through. And the fact that you keep claiming you "win" and that I'm "done" is just a cover-up for your fear of having an actual argument.
So why don't you cut the bullshit and show me some evidence that I can refute?
