@metalhealth1980 The theme song of the movie, Dream Warriors, was written and performed by Dokken.
In the VHS release of the film, during the opening sequence, a hard rock instrumental version of the song Quiet Cool is playing. The original version of that song, performed by Joe Lamont, was written for the movie with the same name in 1986. When Dream Warriors was released on DVD, the song that was on the original theatrical release, "Into the Fire" by Dokken, was reinserted.

Is it weird that I am 13 and find 80's music awesome?

I thought Lynch was the leader of the band. Then I found out the singer is called Don Dokken.

By a huge margin their best song. Too bad there aren't any metal frontmen with a voice worth a shit these days. I bet it would make a popular cover and get some airtime if someone could pull it off....

@iamtheshaner Actually if you look at some of the new european bands they have some good metal singers, but not many can compare to the old metal singers.
