After a wonderful winter's spell, the Ice Queen finds that the seasons must change once again. The beads in the story signifies the winter within each year. The Ice Queen collects these beads so that she can remember each one of her beloved winters. Ice melts and breaks off, streams of water flow again, and in time, her winter glory will come and end as it always has and always will like a beautiful eternal waltz she dances to in step with acceptance.
