9-11 Flag Remembrance - Philadelphia Intl. Airport

I started work at the airport at 0330 today, 9/11/08. It hit me that it's been 7 years and I wanted to commemorate the day. I pulled out the US flag that had hung in our lobby and called a mechanic with a request that he re-hang it. He told me that they were hanging flags on the jetways as we spoke. By dawn, after our flag was hung in the lobby I went out on the ramp and discovered the auto shop crew had fabricated mounts and placed flags on ALL of our motorized equipment. Those flags were everywhere. I was moved by our impromptu flag display in memory of that awful day. I took pictures of all those flags, added a little music and here it is. Please try to watch it thru, in memory of the people who were lost.

i just replaced my original 9/11 flag with a new one. i found it in a forclosed vacant property. im keeping the original one because it makes me remember francis scott key. it really is tatterd. great video!
