good education, be artificial or otherwise, but take a look at kids today after seeing shows like tinky winky & frigging lala,!! yes give that one some thought, the technology back then was NOT as it is today, "look" we have cars, i-phones & X-boxes that talk! if the techno was there then like it is now, it would be quite an educating programme, bring it back now and it will be a winner. i'de rather see children walking around acting like vicky the robot than an assassin creed!!!!.
My band The Small Wonder Experience out of Joshua Tree, CA plays classic rock covers and folk/funk/punk/rock original tunes. 99% of our music has nothing to do with the TV show but for the hell of it, we do perform a killer psychedelic blues cover of the SW theme song from the show often.
@savvysearch - Well, she did change her dress sometimes. If it was that bad then why did it last 4 seasons? I can name you more than 10 shows which were ridiculous and barely lasted 1 season. You're comparing from this timeline that's why you find it ridiculous. When it 1st aired, it was pretty famous and was targeted towards children. You obviously don't expect complex jokes here, now do you? But then again, to each his own. Saying it's dumb or good doesn't make it a fact. It's all subjective.
@rahully2j so a robot can walk, talk with a developed sense of language but it doesn't have the capacity to change a dress that she had been wearing forever. A dress that even in the 80s, was more appropriate for children under the age of 6.
You're seriously trying to argue that this was not a ridiculous show? Even given the requisite suspension of disbelief in a concept like this, the show is just plain laughably bad (which was the reason for it's success).
I used to love this show when i was a kid, but now i see the error in my ways, and now it just scars the shit out of me.. smfh....
