@felicianablack but you must realize throughout he does grow more of a care for humans. or, fairsay, 'interest'.
If Matsui Yuusei intended them to be, then i guess he just wanted the fans to decide that.

They didn't really become a couple... but somehow I think this was arranged for a reason. For one thing, Neuro isn't human, which means his mentality isn't to be measured by our standards. Throughout the story he kept repeating that all he wanted was delicious enigmata, and that he really didn't give a damn to how people would feel. But hey...he did care about Yako, probably more than he would realize. Well maybe they didn't become a couple, but surely they love each other in their own way. :-)

Actually no... sadly, they don't turn into a couple...
The closest you get is Neuro kind of "hugs" Yako, he really just held her against him and started laughing. (Chapter 201, the second to last chapter)
There isn't even a confession or solid proof of the two loving eachother, but one thing is for sure, they both care for eachother as close friends by the end...
If only they became a couple...

SO IN THE MANGA THEY TURN ONTO A COUPLE!! if that's true, someone tell me from which chapter does season 2 start? usually manga has more "eps" than anime cuz it's easier to make still not so EASY to evryone. But not always, Ultra maniac is a proof but Sailor moon has more eps than the manga =)
