This is a well-conceived video. It shows the progression of Rembrandt's life, from ambitious cocky young man, to mature artist, to his later life when his painting became rough and the sense of sad resignation begins to show. The second last portrait, maybe his last one, is rough, grotesque and beautiful and it's a real testament to his talent. Ending the video with a self-portrait of the young artist brings out the sadness of his story.

Thanks for posting Keitel10 and what a wonderful combination to combine the work of 2 genius people. I think Rembrandt has never been surpassed as a painter, it is almost scary how one can paint that way. Rembrandt is the Grand Master and ever lasting genius of painting!
