http://www.ProGuitarShop.com - The Radial Tonebone Plexitube distortion pedal is, simply put, a Marshall Plexi in a box. This relatively compact pedal is powered by a 12AX7 tube and delivers a cornucopia of classic Marshall tones with tons of tweakability. Make any amp sound like a classic Marshall Plexi stack!

The Radial Tonebone Plexitube features two switches, one True Bypass for tonal integrity, and one to toggle between Channel 1 and Channel 2. Channel 1 has been engineered for chunky, fat Marshall rhythm sounds, while Channel 2 has been designed specifically for singing leads and smooth sustain. Channel 2 also features an effects loop for interfacing a reverb or delay pedal with your lead setting, allowing you to enact both with one toggle. This feature limits the fancy footwork so you can concentrate on the important stuff, like ripping out a face-melting solo.

Independent level, EQ, and contour controls allow for total tone shaping tweakability. This is further enhances by switches for top end, voicing, and mid content, allowing you to control brightness, fatness, and mid boost or cut. Whether you dig a scooped Marshall metal sound or a warm, midrangey classic Marshall rock sound, it's all in there.

Take a peek at the vid and check out the Radial Tonebone Plexitube pedal for yourself. If you dig thick, meaty Marshall rock tones this is the pedal for you.

  • Has nice sound. But what if you matched this with a solid state type amp?

  • @sToNeHells Check out the Line 6 Uber Metal .

  • That's a shit ton of low end.

  • I have owned one of these pedals for a few years now. I play with an Epiphone Les Paul custom ( trying to get some new pick-ups) into a Peavy classic 30. Love this pedal. While I wouldnt suggest it for Death Metal, it can certainly get heavy if you want it to. I have pulled some classic Metallica sounds out of it before and then within moments getting a nice Jeff Buckly Hallelujah tone out of it, extremely versatile and more than worth it. I highly recommend it for any eclectic player.

  • @sToNeHells Death Metal uhmmm, this thing have lots of gain but for death metal uhmmmm better get something a more modern pedal

  • @sToNeHells Karl Sanders uses this in his band Nile.
