Here is a retouched and remixed version of Gloria Estefans Merry Christmas Darling, a live rendition of the original Carpenters tune that she perfomed last Christmas on the "Today" show.
I tried to give the original video a vintage look to tie in with the song and also enhanced the vocals and instruments to give the tune a studio feel if anyone wants to download it onto their media player.

Gloria's cover of this song is not that bad. She keeps her voice in low and easy.... I am sure that had Karen been her to see and hear this she might have commented jokingly with " Someone run that girl out of town..." Not to mention the arangement is very Carpenter like.. In fact I was half expecting that Richard was at the panio... Good job Gloria..

I've always thought Gloria has a very nice voice, but this song proves how Karen Carpenter is just head and shoulders above everyone else.
