Poppy POV
As soon as Nick left I fell asleep, thinking about him. The doctor knocked on the door and came in "What time is it?" I asked sleepily "4am" The doctor said as he came to check my notes "Do I have to go on now?" I asked hoping the answer would be no "Im afraid so." The doctor said as he put my notes down. "Do I have to?" I asked I know that the answer would be yes, but I just asked the question anyway "Sorry Poppy, I know its hard, but it needs to be done to make you better" Doctor Sands said as he walked to my bed side "I know" I whined "Well, Ill be right back with the medicine and well put you on." Doctor sands said as he fiddled with my fluids "When do I get off of it?" I asked "Around 4pm" He said "Can I go home after?" I smiled hopefully "You should be able to go home" he said as he smiled "Thank you so much" I said as I smiled. The doctor left and I got my phone out. I know that he said that I had to text him when I was going on, but I dont know if I should. I guess I dont want to be on my own when I am throwing up, but I dont think that Nick would like it either. He might be mad if I dont though. Ok, I think Ill text him, and Ill give him the option not to come.. That way I dont have to feel bad if he does because its his decision right?
Nick POV
I didnt sleep well last night. I couldnt stop thinking about Poppy, alone in that hospital. Well I guess shes safe right now. I think I got around 5 hours most. My phone went off and I shot out of bed, I know that its Poppy. I looked at my phone and it said 4am woah, couldnt the doctors let the poor girl sleep?! I guess not. I pulled on some trousers and put on a top and headed down stairs. I left a note saying where I am and things. I picked up my keys and hopped into the car. I was so tiered, I know I shouldnt be driving right now. But I would do anything for Poppy. I finally got to the hospital. I locked up and walked inside. "Hello, could you please tell me where Poppy Davis is?" I asked the receptionist "Ah, Nick" I heard a voice say. I turned around and it was Poppys doctor "Hello Doctor Sands, is it possible if I can see Poppy?" I asked "Sure, she has just been put on the chemo again, how come youre here?" he asked me "Oh, well I told her to tell me when she was going back on it. She said that I didnt have to come if I didnt want to but I wanted to" I blabbered [A.n: I have no Idea if that is a real word or not, but oh well xD] on "Ok, well shes in her room.. You know where that is right?" He said as he smiled "Yes. Thank you doctor, for helping her." I said as I shook his hand "No problem, its my job" He said as he smiled "Well, if you excuse me, I have another patient to see, Ill see you later" He said as he walked down the hall way "Yeah, bye." I said as I started walking to see her. I got up to the room and I saw Poppy lying there. She looked so exhausted "Hello beautiful" I said as I quietly closed the door behind me. She opened her eyes and looked at me "Nick! You know you didnt have to come!" she said as she had a smile on her face "I know, I know, I wanted to though" I said as I walked by her bed "Youre so sweet" She said as she smiled weakly "Now give me a kiss" I said as I leaned over her face. She gave me a sweet peck on the lips "Thats better" I said as I pulled away. She blushed and played with her small hands. I think its time for me to tell her. "I-I wanted to tell you this on like a special date or something, but I feel like its the right time.." I said as I started to get nervous "Tell me what?" She asked as she smiled I I took a deep breath "I love you Poppy" I said shyly. I looked down and then back up to see her expression. She looked shocked "Im sorry, you prob-" I got cut off as she put her finger to my lips "I love you too" she said as she smiled "Y..you do?!" I asked. YES SHE LOVES ME!!!!!! "I always have, and I always will." She said as she Bit her bottom lip. "Why do you do this to me?" I asked as I sighed "Do.. do what?" she asked worriedly "Make me melt every time I look at you" I said again. She giggled and blushed "Why do you do this to me?" she asked "What do I do you to you?" I asked as I looked her in the eyes "Why is it that whenever I see you I just want to kiss you?" She said as she played with a little bit of her hair "Oh, I do that to you now do I?" I asked as I stood up. "Oh yes you do" She said as she looked at me "Well, lets see if I can help you with that want of yours." I whispered as I leaned in to kiss her "Id like that" she whispered as she leaned in to kiss me. Our lips collided I felt sparks go through my body. I cant believe someone can make me feel the way I feel. Its almost unreal. I kissed her passionately and she returned it with just as much passion. "mm.. Now that was nice" she said as we pulled away from each other "It was wasnt it". I said with a massive smile on my face.
