Tim McGraw's mega hit "Red Ragtop" performed by the writer himself, Jason White. A behind the scenes interview that explains the inspiration for this song. Edited by Digital Vineyard's Robie Bass and Directed by Glenn Sweitzer.
I think everyone can relate in someway to this song. Not in the sense of having to give a child up, but of being young and in love and growing apart. No matter how many years pass we all think about that first love. I know I always will.
Much better performance that Tim McGraw. Tim changed a lyric in the second chorus (on the back of, instead of driving home in that) which made the song sound like they had sex on the car after her abortion.
@marshallcruncher i got it from listening.. i keep seeing people say open G but listen to him at the start, it's definitely not... this is what i got... Eb, F#,C#, F#, Bb, F#. just use your thumb for the 5th string/bass line... then use all three (index, middle, ring) for the 4th,3rd,2nd strings. play those all OPEN and thats your first chord. second chord, finger a regular E major but INSTEAD OF YOUR INDEX ON THE 3rd STRING, PUT IT ON THE smaller 2nd string. thats mostly it....
I actually like dis song.. It's nice :)
