  • folk music is handed down. Dylan played other people's songs all the time.

real artist don't get hung up on things like that.

  • He's obviously emulating Dylan, and he knows that, and he knows people know that. It's an homage. The album version of this song is much different. Tweedy is plenty talented enough to play it any way he wants -- he doesn't need to rip off Dylan to be good -- he's doing it on purpose.

  • Dylan would be probably is giving massive props to someone keeping a true tone rather then rely on crappy drum machines auto tune and comp created loops.

  • As far as i know bob dylan neither invented the hamonica nor was he the first person to playit along with a guitar...so move on ladies and gentlemen and enjoy the tunes

  • OH WOW! AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR AND HARMONICA?! HE'S COPYING BOB DYLAN!

Jeff Tweedy isn't trying to be Bob Dylan.

    He's being Jeff Tweedy.

    So. Fuck off.

  • I also disagree with the idea that he's having a good time.

  • Accusing someone playing folk music of ripping off Dylan is a nerd's way of shit-talking something without having an actual reason. Beyond the whole guitar/harmonica thing, there's not a whole lot in common. You nerds just got served.

  • he's just playing music, having a good time and loving it
