I just got my third blood donation shirt! =D

On my last 2 donations I have done this kind of donation. I amO+. The first time I did it they asked would you like to do it and I said yes immediatly. The second time I did it I asked more about it and where the blood goes and they said Childrens Hospital and right then and there in my mind I made a commitment that I was going to this for as long as I could. I have 4 children and this in their honor. Please everyone if you can do this please do.

Makes it more real. I used to be afraid to donate, but then I started at least 10-15 years ago. I feel like I'm back in kindergarten - in a good way. They give you juice; you rest in a reclining chair and read a book while they take your blood; and then you get more juice and cookies and go home... and you may have saved a life!
