  • : Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him ) said: “Verily, the hearts of the Children of Adam, all of them, are between the two fingers of the Most Merciful as one heart. He directs them wherever he wills.” Then Allah’s Messenger (sa) said: “O Allah, the Turner of the hearts, turn our hearts to Your obedience.”

We should all follow our beloved prophet and repeat his duaa :

( اللهم يا مقلب القلوب والابصار ثبت قلوبنا على دينك )

  • Something fishy with this whole qureishis some ex ahmadiyyahs, david wood, sam shamoun, ali sina (anonymous alias) group. These guys will do anything to mislead people about Islam. Anything, just listen to their lies, smokescreen, and spins on Islam. Never even heard about farhan qureishy before this, "claims" to be in the frontline of islamic apologetics. Allah knows best about their facades and fitnahs. They'll know the truth at least in a 100 years.

  • @navynmr I knew Farhan before, not personally anyway. He helped me about some issues I had concernin islam and Ahmadiya.. May Allah guide him back to islam.

  • @EnjoiningKnowlege May Allah (swt) enable brother Farhan to realize his profound error and grant him guidance back to Islam, with a fuller understanding of Islam.

  • @EnjoiningKnowlege More often than not, our conclusions aren't actually rationally sound. All that matters is whether Farhan's justification is rationally sound with valid premises. It's very easy to become active in the whole debating platform, because it's virtually ubiquitous and encouraged everywhere. Yet, just as you've said, it does not guarantee that an individual actually possesses any sort of coheisve knowledge over a matter.

  • Well said brother. I myself am also double majoring in Biology and Psychology, and minoring in Philosophy. If I was to ever leave Islam, Allah forbid, would that grant me any sort of authority? No. This is a logically fallacy known as an argument from authority. Our human "knowledge" is often very subjective, based on our relativistic analyses of our relativistic experiences. [cont

  • @ndntakeover24 Not quite. Objecting to a component of a worldview from a subjective perspective does nothing to undermine the veracity of said worldview or its components. Even if you don't "like" something, it does not entail that it is not rooted in truth. The only way to falsify such philosophical systems, is by addressing their premises or axioms (their foundations). Objection must be rooted in objective reasoning, with valid premises. Otherwise, it's just subjective rhetoric.

  • Seek knowledge through Islam and others

  • He said Farhan's objection to the death penalty for apostasy is "selfish"

-_- well.. DUH it's his life.. why shouldn't he be thinking about himself to that degree???
