Quick question: I keep hearing that the strop needs to be super tightly pulled, which you do not seem to be doing. Or am I wrong about just how tight the strop has to be? I've been putting the strop on a table just to be sure...

Leather stropping pulls a sharply honed edge out. It makes for a better shave.

A few observations. First, how much pressure are you using, or is it done just by the feel of the strip against the blade? Also, are you looking for a change on the blade, or are you just counting a certain amount of strokes on each side? Otherwise, you have an excellent video of proper technique. Thank you.
