I ordered them through my dealer from the Parts Unlimited catalog. The pipes are listed for the Classic and LT but fit the Custom the exact same. Here is the part number for the kit I ordered 1810-0905. It was a perfect fit with no surprises.

I bought a power commander 3 to help control the backfiring. but other than that all I did was put in new exhaust gaskets. The exhaust kit comes with a new bracket that we swapped out for the OEM one but that was all we changed.

Nice bike man I just bought the same one. Wondering how you shaved the emblems? what process did you use? nice pipes too im thinking about getting the same ones how do you like them?

Definitely the best pipes for the 900 so far. As for shaving the emblems the best method is to use a hair dryer to heat the emblems just a bit and then use fishing line and kind of saw the glue off behind the emblem. Then once you have the emblem off use a rag and Ronsonol lighter fluid to wipe the glue off. After that a good wash and wax and you are good to go. If you want to take the small Kawasaki emblem off the side cover just peel it off. No need to use anything on it.
