I like the concept of kinetic art and I think it opens up art to a group that otherwise would never show any interest. It is also important to note that most art collections/museums don't allow interaction, not even a single touch. Everyone knows that something your not allowed to touch will not interest kids and kinetic art does allow and sometimes encourages it. For these reasons I think it opens up art to kids.
