Skiathos is amazing. Beautiful island, really chilled out, and an awesome landing/takeoff to frame the holiday. Go there, and stand on the road!!!!! Not when an aircraft takes off tho - Doh.

St. Maarten is much better. You can stand on the beach right under the planes landing. This one is not bad though...

A couple of big differences between the airports. A 747 could not land in Skiathos, as the runway is too short. The water at both ends of the 5200' Skiathos runway makes for an interesting view for the pilots. But you can stand on the beach or the road at Skiathos just like in St Maarten, but a 757 will never give the same impression as the huge 747.

They really need to put antivirus on planes these days. The candians will probably invent it before long, we are the superior race.
