  • love the drums

  • nice.

  • Excellent cover!!!!!!

  • BETTER. than u2. :D

  • @consuelobernardi A tiny bit more? This is 100% better than the original!

  • Excellent cover. This is a bit lower than the U2 version. What key did you play/sing it in? Two to three half tones lower I estimate.

  • I am a huge u2 fan! I am always the one that says - What the hell? Only U2 can perform that! - I stand corrected! This young man kicked this songs ass! Great job! Thanks for sharing! It is different but still beautiful!

  • I am speechless. This was absolutely amazing and original in a way a cover should be. When you get a chance come over to my channel and check out my video of streets as I've just uploaded my guitar cover. Once again outstanding, the whole band!

  • @RephaimAOD But that quality to Matthew's voice that you call "raspiness" allows him to sing with a kind of unique emotion that even Bono can't (not more, just different). So considering all the amazing original work Matthew has created, I think an imperfect (whatever that means in art) cover of a song written in a radically different style than his own can be forgiven. Besides, if your purported expertise can't allow you to appreciate it, that's your loss. I will keep enjoying it.

  • You are right. He is not Bono and lacks the vocal power that has made this song and U2 in general one of the most popular acts in the history of music. But you could hold that against most artists.
