Inseparable - A JB Love Story [Chapter 5, part 1]

We left off with Joe asking out Jay.

A couple of minutes later, the rest of the group came back. Jaydlyn jumped in the air with excitement.
Caroline: What's wrong with you?
Jaydlyn: You wouldn't believe what just happened.
Trevor: What?
Jaydlyn: Guess.
Nate: You found the meaning of life and you want to share it with us.
Jaydlyn: Uh, no. Not really.
George: You found out where the bathroom is.
Jaydlyn: I know where the bathroom is! Come on, guys, seriously.
Trevor: At least give a hint.
Jaydlyn: Let's see. Heartthrob boy band...
Caroline: No.
Jaydlyn: YES!
Taryn: You don't mean the-
Jaydlyn: YES!
Dylan: You met them?
Jaydlyn: Better! Joe asked me out!
George: Jay, you can't just lie to us like this. What are you gonna do, go to a restaurant and order two meals and date yourself?
Jaydlyn: No, he did. And not only that, he also said that our band was almost certain to make the cut.
Dylan: Now she wouldn't lie about that.
Caroline: What happened?
Jaydlyn: I was cleaning up and I dropped Trevor's drumstick and he picked it up and asked me out.

The Jonas Brothers walked in as Jaydlyn finished talking.

Trevor: You mean, JOE JONAS TOUCHED MY DRUMSTICK! OH MY GOD!
Everybody looked at Trevor, including Kevin, Joe, and Nick.
Joe: Okay, awkward...
Everyone started laughing.
George: Typical Trevor.
Nick: Wow, that was pretty crazy. Anyways, you guys were really good. Don't worry about the cut tomorrow. You guys will definitely make it.
Kevin: Yeah, definitely.
Joe: Yeah, no big deal.
Kevin: Okay, well, we gotta go. See you guys later!
Nick: See ya.
Joe: *looks at Jaydlyn* Bye.
Dylan: Well, they seem nice.
Caroline: They're okay. I feel just a little bit different about them. Definitely have more respect for them.
Jordan: They're down to earth.
Trevor: Okay, we gotta go, too.
George: Yeah, let's go.

LATER THAT EVENING: Jaydlyn's house

Caroline: I can't believe you’re dating a Jonas brother.
Jaydlyn: We're not dating. It's just a night out.
Caroline: I wonder what Brett will say when he hears this.
Jaydlyn: He's not gonna say anything because he's not gonna know.
(phone rings)
Jaydlyn: Hello?...Hi, who is this?...Oh! Hi, Joe!...Yeah...Um, 1795 Caser Street. It's actually in the same area that we had the auditions today...I'll be waiting...Okay, see you...Bye. *hangs up phone* It was Joe! He's coming in like ten minutes! I'm so excited!
Caroline: Jay, you don't even have your clothes on yet. You were busy doing your hair.
Jaydlyn: Omigod. Care, help me!
Caroline: *holds up a yellow sundress* What about this?
Jadlyn: That's perfect! Try to find some white stuff, like shoes and jewelry.
(In seven minutes exactly, Jaydlyn was dressed. In nine minutes the doorbell rang.)
Caroline: Okay, teeth and breath check.
Jaydlyn: Am I okay?
Caroline: Great! Still take mints, just in case.
Jaydlyn: I have gum. *opened the door* Hey Joe.
Joe: Hey, you look nice.
Jaydlyn: Thanks. Um, this is my best friend, Caroline.
Joe: Hi.
Caroline: Hi. Alright, well I have to go. See you later, Jay.
Jaydlyn: Bye.
Joe: Well, let's go. You ready?
Jaydlyn: Yeah.

Oh My Joe! I wonder, where will they go? Will they even have fun? Or will Jay be too starstruck to function? And I can't foget to mention the paps and media! How will the date go? Read the next chapter to find out!
