Wow, im surprised that a articulated engine like that can handle the curve that fast. I have a mth s-1 and i have to go slow over the 72 curves without it falling off

Actually, that curve has a 48" radius (O-96 in O-gauge speak) so most of the equipment doesn't have any problems.

Thanks. That belongs to Jim Caccavo. He's a Vietnam vet and has been putting the components for that train together for some time.

It's electric with a smoke unit. In O scale, MOST steam and diesel engines smoke now. They use a mineral oil blend that smokes when it is heated by a heating element in the locomotive.
