  • why would you chop the roof of a 41 lincoln what a dumbass

  • This is wonderful.

Converting to 12 volts just compensates for not keeping the engine in tune

  • Wow, that V12 sure runs smooth. Must have been why they put them in the Lincoln.

The 6V system is OK for California, but up here in the Great White North, you'd really appreciate having 12V to turn over an engine in the winter with molasses in the crankcase.

  • reminds me of the way our 53 Ford sounded when Daddy would start it

  • @lasalleman

It's a vintage classic car with 6V electric wirering, it doesn't need anything.

  • @orangie84 not actual speeds... your thinking of a peddle bike. in cars its gears :P

  • ay ay ayay...internaron al loro, internaron al loro, internaron al loro.....

  • man that starter whines..

    it's a big engine.

curious what kind of transmission is on that?

I mean how many speeds and how do you shift?

  • Needs 12 volts. With alternator.

  • In my next lifetime (when I have money) Im going to put a zephyr V-12 in a 1939 Ford Delux Coupe that looks completely stock, except lowered
