This video goes well with the sound of the song, but not necessarily the meaning. Although the meanings open to interpretation GOOD JOB.

I tend to agree with dilyonful. I think the point is that the family loves each other but is very dysfunctional and the "dogs" are the various things that tear them apart. When the family is completely torn apart, it's a sad day but in a way it's happy because they're all free from each other.
I do love how abstract and open to interpretation this song is. It reminds me of "Out Out" by Robert Frost.

Would be better if you cut the kids doing dumb shit... It just doesn't feel relevant to the song at all. I thought the intro with the sun was great, and the general tone you were able to capture with the shots of grass and the moon all worked well. Nice work though, inspires me to want to make some videos for this song

@dilyonful thats an interesting thought. But I'm pretty sure the song is actually about a family being converted one by one to a religion by another family, as most clearly evidenced by the very end of the song.

my interpretation of this song is a family torn apart by violence, drugs and alcohol

great fan video, most i've seen have been utterly disappointing, but this one was actually really good.
this reminded me of the whole cd in general, not just the one song, but nice job. very creative
