The St. Olaf Orchestra (Steven Amundson, conductor) performs Slavonic Dance, Op. 46, #8 (Presto) by Antonin Dvorák.

This performance was part of a Celebration Weekend concert at Skoglund Center Auditorium on the campus of St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota, May 23, 2009.

I think what makes the Ole orchestra and band so amazing is 1/3 or more of the musicians are majoring in something other than music.

I was "shocked" by the quality of the sound, musicianship, etc., of this orchestra!

Unbelievable! I expected, another school band, I always like to hear kids playing good music. Instead, I almost got a heart attack, due to a quality sound. This is, by all means, professional level orchestra. Bravo! Congratulations to all musicians, and specially, congratulations to the music director/conductor! Great accomplishment.
