The venue is the County Ground, Leyland - the home of the Lancashire Football Association and on the night of Thursday April 14th 2011, Poulton SFC of the Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Football Alliance (BFSFA) were up against Greenlands FC of the Preston Sunday Football League. Poulton SFC took the lead through Danny Morris before Greenlands FC equalised just before the break. In the second half Poulton SFC raced into a 3-1 lead thanks to goals from Darren Hall and Lee Catlow and despite Greenlands FC pulling a goal back, Poulton SFC went on to win the match 3-2. Poulton SFC were the first side from the BFSFA to win the Trophy since Mammas FC in the 1993/94 season. Congratulations to manager Alan Cocker and all the players and officials of Poulton SFC on such a memorable victory. Chris Morris lifts the Cup for Poulton SFC
