This video and youtube site was first put up for our lawyer, who we had write a letter to the neighbor. But popularity has demanded more explanation.
This is the result of a realtor neighbor who purchased 2 houses in our neighborhood and began huge remodels, likely just to turn a profit. He has filled in a drainage creek that runs through our properties (and used by about a dozen houses in our area), and action that was opposed by many in our area. He and his workers have ticked off many of us neighbors by messes, double parking, trash, tresspassing without asking, and a general disrespect for others. This remodel has now been going on for almost a year, with workers constantly parking in front of our house and walking back and forth across our brand new front yard and lawn. There is no reason for them to walk across our property, and we ended up putting up a temporary tape near our border (and well within our property) to discourage them cutting back and forth across our property, as there is plenty of access to the street from his property. There are also sprinkler heads in the border area, and we have replaced them 3-4 times. Apparently he does not want to stop his workers from trespassing.
It's fine if he wants to remodel his house, and it's part of living in a neighborhood, but he needs to respect his neighbor's property.
Because of his actions, our neighborhood of 65 homes has reformed the CC&R architectural committee through a majority vote. We are taking actions to make him reopen the creek behind his house.
He is not happy, and doesn't like anyone to tell him what he can or can not do, as evidenced by these videos.
These videos are for evidence in a lawsuit or as evidence in defense of a lawsuit against us, which he has threatened.
In another video on the same day, you can see the workers trespassing through this very area where he just cut the tape.
Hm, I see he's got a port a potty there too...those things are heavy but they do tip sometimes in windstorms. If you get another guy to help you, they are easy to tip over. You can also get some dog or cat poopie and leave piles of it in his driveway so he can drive over it and step in it. You could also rub that tape that you have there with poison ivy leaves. :) Make sure to wear gloves.
