That was a young giraffe, but it didn't know what hit it when that lioness attacked.

lionesses are around 120cm high at the shoulders and wiegh like 130kg and it took down a giraffe which is at least 3-4 meters which says a lot about how powerful lions are!

very experienced lioness, they don't usually take giraffe, elephant or buffalo. Mostly specialised large prides. Also in hunting areas tracks outside camp after a quiet night under the stars is bad news!!
much prefer a noisy(roars/grunts) night :)
