Jura X9 Cleaning the Auto Milk Frother System

Maintenance of your Jura X9 Super Automatic Espresso machine is quick and easy using Urnex Rinza. The X9 frothing system should be cleaned once a day at the end of the day. Select the Clean Milk System button and it will walk you through the milk frother cleaning steps. First using a container that is at least 2 cup capacity, add 30 ml Urnex Rinza to 1/2 liter of water. Immerse the two milk tubes in the solution. Place a receptacle 1/2 liter under the brewing spout to catch the solution after it passes through the machine. Press the Clean Milk System button again. The solution will be pumped through the entire frothing system. When this step is done you will hear an acoustic signal and the indicator will tell you it is time to rinse the unit with clear water. Fill the intake receptacle with clean water and dump the output receptacle to it can catch the rinse water. Press the Clean Milk System button one final time. The rinse will take place and end with Coffee Ready indicator message. Frothing System cleaning takes about 2 minutes.
