I expected this to be good, quality music. And it is. Thank you for giving middle eastern sound a serious contemporary idiom. I also like Ross Daly's work, of course, but I'm not so keen on the recent Cretan singing. I prefer notes that take me on a journey of exploration, not mantinades about lost loves (much as they have their place in the Cretan folk tradition).
