  • how old are you? :)

    good performance :)

  • The performance was 2 years ago...

I played the piece in front of my schoolmates, really very nervous...

near the ending, I forgot the sound suddenly, but I tried to keep the music going on... haha... so maybe it sound a bit like improvisation? actually sucks... :P

I was surprised many people said it was a 'nice performance'. Maybe the only thing that I've done is to keep the music going...

  • I think it is a little bit too slow, it needs more "move". Think more "brioso"

  • I think the tempo is appropriate, it could just use a little more direction in some places.

  • Congratulations. I noticed the same difficulty that besets many who tackle Scriabin. Namely, the delineation of the melodic line that intertwines and hides within the notes. It requires incredible independence of hands and something I was never able to perform perfectly.

But you know what they say - Practice makes perfect!

  • This etude is only marked to be played "brioso". I don't think a little faster tempo would be less "brioso" than this one, do you?

  • Finally someone playing this etude with the right tempo!

  • Yay! My favourite of Scriabin's études. Too bad more people don't play this one.

Like other people here have commented, you should definitely play it a little faster and make it flow - it sounds a bit (well, more than just a bit) botched at places. And the first theme should be a lot clearer - you play it better in the repeat (starting at 0:31). But good thing that you're playing this music - just keep on practicing!

  • very good! i just started this piece. You played it great, I just think it needs to be a little faster.

  • it needs to flow more...
