I started Enbrel today. It stung really badly and I have a high pain threshold! I am wondering now if it was because the alcohol wasn't dry. On Sunday when I do my next injection I'll make sure to wait for the alcohol to dry. Hopefully it won't hurt as much. Thanks for the video!

Just follow the directions that come in the box, and you should be fine.

I started Enbrel last week. I also have the autoinjector. I use it for Psoriasis, my dermatologist spent usless weeks doing phototherapy that doesnt work at all if you ask me! before the decided to do Enbrel. I hate the injections they hurt and sting like hell. How long does it take to show improvment?

I've never tried phototherapy - my skin is extremely light and they said the risk of skin cancer was too high.
Do your injections come with a little instruction sheet? Once you do it right it hurts a lot less. I would be glad to scan it and post it.
It took about 3-4 weeks for improvements to begin - I was doing it twice a week for a while. Make sure the alcohol is dry before you inject! That will reduce stingies.

1st don't try to dry in any way the alcohol, clean an area and leave it as is. If you think it's too wet, don't put so much alcohol on the swab or use the alcohol nap then Enliven can provide.
2nd-don't wiggle the pen when you press it against your leg like you did. Just press the pen onto the area, click the button, release and wait for the fluid to get injected.
I use it for my psoriasic arthritis. It's clearing up the areas affected by the psiriosis as well as helping with the arthritis.

I wiggled it before pressing the button, just to settle it on a spot. I've got the system down now.
I have had knee aches since my psoriasis got bad. During my first month on, the knee pain went away. When I went down to one a week, the knee pain seemed to come back. Need to reassess.
