This is a reasoning with Havasupai wisdomkeeper Roland Manakaja and author Robert Roskind (The Beauty Path:A Native American Journey Into One Love, Rasta Heart, Memoirs of an Ex-Hippie, etc. - www.rastaheart.com). Filmed on the Havasupai Indian Reservation on the floor of the Grand Canyon, where 800 tribal members are living 11 miles from the closest road. • I guess this type of wisdom is really outdated. Time to update your lifestyles.

  • I met a kid today at Riverside Indian School that lives in the Grand Canyon 6 miles down in. It's amazing. Coming from there to go to school in Oklahoma.

  • prt 2??

  • Truly amazing. So impressive. I wish I could express my feelings in a manner to show the proper respect that I feel like sharing. I'm impressed with these folks to live off the land in the grand canyon! Friggen amazing. A true blessing for me to witness this video, how wonderful it must have been to BE the people. A true blessing.

  • that was some of the best times in my life,i was about 16 years old when i hitchhiked to my brothers house in flagstaff.. then hitched a ride to the grand canyon and hiked down into and all around the canyon itself, never left for almost 3 months, i remember the mule ride ranger gathering up all the tourist peoples left over food from the box lunches they give them and giving it to me, i actually ate pretty good down there!! i wish i could go back to that simple time again, it changed my life!!
