Here are two sweet songs performed by the famous Anita Kerr, chosen to enhance the typical beauty of Marisa Bell, who had a tragic destiny.
Marisa Mell (born Marlies Theres Moitzi, 1939 - 1992) was an Austrian actress who became a cult figure of 1960s Italian B-movies. She was born in Graz. In 1963, she was involved in a violent automobile accident in France. For six hours, she lay unconscious, unaware that she nearly lost her right eye. The disfigurement extended to her lip as well. She spent the next two years undergoing plastic surgery, and no damage remained in her face, except for a distinctive curl of her upper lip.
She turned down a seven-year Hollywood contract, saying that while the payment would have been great, "the contract was a whole book. I think that even to go to the toilet I would have needed a permission." She is best known for the role of Eva Kant in "Danger: Diabolik" (1968). She also played in "Das Rätsel der roten Orchidee" ("The Puzzle of the Red Orchid", 1962), "Masquerade" (1965), "Casanova '70" (1965, with Virna Lisi, Michèle Mercier and Marcello Mastroianni), "Train d'enfer" ("Operation Double Cross", 1965), "Le dolci signore" ("Anyone can play", 1968, with Ursula Andress, Virna Lisi, Claudine Auger), "Les belles au bois dormantes" ("Versatile Lovers", 1970), "Senza via d'uscita" ("No Way Out", 1970, with Lea Massari), "...dopo di che, uccide il maschio e lo divora" ("Marta", 1971), "Sette orchidee macchiate di rosso" ("Das Rätsel des silbernen Halbmonds", 1972), "Mahogany" (1975, with Diana Ross). In the late 1990s, the television show MST3K brought the actress to a new generation of B-movie viewers when the film was featured on an episode. The show also spoofed another of her starring roles in the 1966 film "Secret Agent Super Dragon". She graduated together with Senta Berger, Heidelinde Weis and Erika Pluhar from Vienna's Max-Reinhard-Seminar. She wrote her autobiography "Coverlove" which was published in Vienna 1990. Another Book "Marisa, Rückblenden einer Freundschaft" by her best friend Erika Pluhar was published in 1996 in Hamburg, Germany. She died of cancer in poverty with only a few friends attending her funeral, the most faithful being Helmut Berger.
