"DIVIDE AND RULE" MP ABBOTT WRONG?

THE POLITICALLY CORRECT and politicians alike are up in arms and have been much vocally exercised over the now retracted (deleted) "TWEET" from MP, shadow minister for Health, who suggested that "White people" use the tactic of "divide and rule," this in response to some who claimed that "black" leader responding to the Stephen Lawrence murder trial verdict did know what they were talking about. Nick Clegg, the Liberal Democrat Leader well know for his honesty and integrity (and holding down student tuition fees) could not resist sticking the boot in, suggesting that Ms Abbott was guilty of a stupid and sweeping generalisation. Certainly, taken out of context, she was - there are many, many white people who have not only dedicated their lives to achieving liberation and equality for black and other oppressed people, but in some cases sacrificed their lives in the process. But it is an undeniable fact that their have been many unscrupulous, usually powerful and influence White people who have done all in their power to sow discord among and between impoverished, less developed peoples in order to subjugate and exploit them. This is what the outspoken MP for Hackney whose constituency is very much composed of such people was no doubt alluding to. BUT Ms ABBOTT IS AN EXPERIENCED POLITICIAN, AND SHOULD HAVE RELISED THAT SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN POLITICAL CIRCLES IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!
