Thursday 31 December 2009 The so-called Blue Moon shone in the sky, ending the first decade of the 21st century.

This phenomenon occurs every 2 years and a half, although his appearance in the month of December is not repeated until the year 2028

La llamada Luna Azul brilló en el cielo, finalizando así la primera década del Siglo XXI.

Este fenómeno ocurre cada 2 años y medio, aunque su aparición en el mes de Diciembre no se repetirá hasta el año 2028
La última vez que sucedió fue en el año 1990.


No esperemos que la luz lunar cambie a color azul, ya que su nombre es debido a su rareza más que a su color, una Luna Azul ocurre cuando hay dos lunas llenas en un mismo mes calendario.

El término Luna Azul, puede deberse a un error en una publicación en la década de los 40

Las próximas "Lunas Azules" serán:
Agosto 2012; julio 2015; enero y marzo 2018 octubre 2020; agosto 2023; mayo 2026; y nuevamente en diciembre 2028

Así que disfrute esta noche de la luz de la Luna, ya que sin duda, sea o no azul, es el astro más poético.
El amor y la música han tenido en ella su cómplice y...
es la noche su eterna compañera.

A today's radio broadcast gave interesting data on the subject of Blue Moon. It stated that the day the Krakatoa blasted off, resulting ashes changed the color of moolight, because of a different wavelenght. Maybe moon has been actually a Blue Moon.

En el radio dijeron que el día que el Krakatoa hizo erupción, la ceniza cambió el color de la luz de la luna, debido a que la luz reflejada por la ceniza tiene una longitud de onda más ancha. Así que la Luna Azul si existe en el cielo.
