  • Great video!

  • Sorry for the slow reply. I'm guiding everyday in Colorado. I do use a stripping basket, it is a pain but if you need it and don't have it it is a real pain.

  • I am new to fly fishing. Have done a bit of searching for articles. Best explanation of Stripping I have heard to this point. Not only how to, but why you strip line.

    Thanks

  • oh yeh one more thing sorry

when you have stripped the line do you quickley wind it back in to retrieve the line on your real

    MSG me

  • Hey can you msg me but if oyu are right handed do you real in with your left hand or what.

neways thanks for that vid it helps me

  • How useful do you think a stripping basket is? I was thinking of making one myself since I saw a pretty nice video on how to do that on here, but I'd only do it if it's worth the trouble. My brother and I are going to tour through Sweden and Norway this summer. We'll be doing a lot of wild camping and hiking so a stripping basket may on the one hand be useful for these rougher areas with lot's of weeds and stuff, but on the other hand it would be extra weight to carry. Any tips? Small basket? :D

  • Hey Thanks for the film

  • very grateful for this series --

for a beginner , this makes me realy going out there and practice!

    thanks again!
