It was a seven mile kayak trip from Pine Island to Cayo Costa. When we got there, we spent the night in a tent under the stars. We were so tired the next day, we decided to take the ferry back to the mainland.

At night, there were a GAZILLION stars. We were lucky and saw bioluminescent life in the water that glowed like crazy and walking back from the beach, we saw the tree above our campsite glowing orange, illuminated by our campfire. It was the only light on the island and shone like a beacon amongst a forest of pitch black. *sigh* It IS an awesome place!

dude, me and my girl are about to go there in 20 days (feb 20)... drivin all the way from rochester, ny to get there. super pumped. looks freakin awesome!
