I'm a medical doctor. I would like to help out in Darfur but I don't know how to get started. Can anyone tell me how I could seek a position with some agency in the ongoing effort to help out in Darfur.

What should we do? You can't force peace on people. If you give them a handout their is no incentive for them to solve the problem through their own strength. You just create a well feed weak minded non competitive society.

It costs about a million dollars a minute in iraq to maintain all of the equipment, vehicles, and weapons. Wish some of that money could go to help these people. The UN really needs to do something about this. This subject is ignored way too much.
