@Junibakken Indeed- I rub the toe myself, although I cannot claim that it has yet made me more intelligent as yet. Perhaps if I combine the toe rubbing with some fish oil!

David Hume was a philosopher, not a Christian saint. How great that people rub the statue's toe in the hope that some wisdom will rub off on them.

This is one of the best and most interesting videos on YouTube. There should be more videos on David Hume. What an interesting man, he is worth more to the world than 95 percent of the human race. Great tour!
