@Nesiti7x I'm assuming it is the message of this song that keeps him Christian, and this song really exemplifies the message of Christianity. God is always there for you, in good times and bad times, and he loves you more than any song, preacher, poet, or writer could ever explain. So if a song about how Jesus loves you keeps someone Christian, then the song is doing exactly what it is meant to do.

A few years ago I met a girl. Our relationship consisted of saying hey at church. In October I went to a retreat at a camp and this girl was there. She said she was taking me on a "nature hike". I found out that a nature hike is an in depth convorsation in a secluded spot. She got me to realize that I was depressed. I ALWAYS felt alone. For around a month she texted me every day. She told me to listen to this song and think of it as a message from her to me. This song helped bring me to Christ!

@deathpill100 Please get your facts straight before commenting. The Christian faith says God loves EVERYONE EQUALLY! He doesn't care if your gay or not, He loves you. He's kind of like a parent, He has to punish us when we misbehave. He knows what we'll do, but that doesn't mean He decides for us! If you've seen Bruce Almighty think free will. We decide whether we like him or not, not the other way around and the fact is He loves us and you. And there's nothing you can do about it.

My best friend told me about this song a few days ago and since then I listen to it almost everyday..Thanks to him I now talk about whats bothering me..I do not cut..And I go to him..And he is helping me get closer to God. My bestfriend means the world to me.I am so glad I have him..And this band.Their music is amazing.This band is my favorite.Don't like them keep your hate to yourself and go elsewhere.Thanks.

@DJgodrocks2 he loves you as long as you're not gay and you believe in him. but if he has a plan for everybody and is omniscient that means he already decided and knew you'd be gay and/or wouldn't believe in him. so he's either a sadistic asshole for deliberately damning you to eternal suffering or a hypocrite. most likely both. luckily, he's just the invention of ignorant, intolerant bronze age tribesmen and doesn't really exist, just like Amon Ra, Thor, Odin, Krishna and so on. :)
