I stopped playing drop C songs because I rather prefer standard tunings. But I might doing drop C songs in the near future again because I miss playing AYDY songs :D

But a change from D to drop C is a pain in the ass with a floyd...

how is that preamp booster on your guitar? does it add more gain? or just volume? thanks

It is a 4 switch equalizer. It adds more gain but is mostly to boost the mids.
