I did decide to become a politician after all ;)
Please vote for me!!!

Today I treat you to a rant. Nothing inspirational, just me complaining about noise.

Note about the translation: It's not quite word for word, but I think it captures the essence of the meaning. : )

I use a NZ English/Maori word today: kumara. In other English speaking countries this is called "sweet potato".

Oh, and the kumara (imo) song I am trying to sing doesn't really sound anything like that. (Sorry, bad singer).

MISTAKE: I said "Queenstown" instead of "Queensland". Queenstown is a place in New Zealand. Queensland is in Australia.

  • hello - you have very interesting show.thank you.

  • that was really cool but kumara is not a maori word.

  • It sounds so cute! Yes,in my town Kokura also came back to peace^^v I think you are so patiently;)

  • This is a favorite! And you kind of remind me of a pirate.. but a cute one ^^

  • The election was yesterday. Now the sky is blue and the streets are peaceful... ahhhh : )

  • I don't agree, I think she has pretty good articulation but her accent did take some getting used to at first. I think many native English speakers around the world run their words together and so sometimes it is difficult to understand even for a native speaker like myself but Sara just has an accent that is not commonly heard in the world stage. I'm sure you'll find her easier to understand once you get used to the accent.
