Don't give beggars money in India

So my nice father tries to give one beggar woman some money who looked like she had a starving baby with her. But once he gave her the money she gives the baby to someone else to get more money from my dad.The baby is drugged to stay asleep. They will chase you for miles. This part of India sucks.

I can't believe all the foul comments I am hearing here. Anyway with the issue of beggars in India, I would do the exact same thing. You are only promoting human trafficking and are doing nothing tangible to improve their lives. Especially if you are a foreigner and are unaware of the local language and customs, just walk away. It is the best thing that you can do to save yourself from being bothered and hence bringing upon a risk to oneself.
